Below, I’m going to walk you through the variety of end caps we offer for our patios, along with the different styles and dimensions available. Let’s start exploring with the videos I provided.
Flat Beveled End Cap: This has a simple, flat design with an angled (beveled) edge. It provides a clean, straightforward finish without extra ornamentation. The bevel helps water runoff and prevents sharp edges. Most common sizes: 3″x8″ and 2″x6″.
Scallop End Cap: This end cap has a decorative, curved (scalloped) edge. It’s mainly for aesthetics, adding a softer, more ornamental look for the patio structure. 2″x6″ or 3″x8″ for any scallop end cap is the most common.
Mitered End Cap: finishing piece where the edges are cut at an angel, usually 45 degrees, to form a clean, seamless corner when joined to another piece. Most common sizes are: 2″x6″ or 3″x8″
Beveled Lattice End Cap: This combines a beveled edge with a lattice pattern. The lattice adds some visual interest while the bevel combines a clean finish. Lattice is always flat beveled. Most common size is 2″x3″, 2″x2″ or 3″x3″ for beveled lattice end cap.
Corbel End Cap: A corbel end cap features a larger, more ornate support piece that extends out, offering both visual appeal and structural suggestion. Size: 2″x6″.
