This video documents the rolled-form gutter and extruded gutter available for non-insulated patio covers. The roll form is standard with most patio cover. In this video the roll form is removed and replaced with an extruded gutter. In this video you will see that their are a lot of tree and the gutter need to be easy to clean from all the leaves that will fall each year. Enjoy and hope it helps.

(Nathan explaining the two different types of gutters)

Roll-Formed Gutters: These are made from flat sheets of aluminum or steel that are fed through a rolling machine to create the gutter shape. The way they are made limits you from being able to clean inside of them because the cover that goes across. Cost: less expensive. Durability: Can be more prone to dents and damage due to the thinner material.

Extruded Gutters: These are forcing aluminum through die to create a seamless gutter. The way these are made make it possible to clean the gutter because the cover isn’t going across. Makes it way easier to clean the gutter without taking it apart. Cost: More expensive. Durability: More durable and resistant to dents and damage.

Extruded gutters are generally considered higher quality due to their seamless construction and thicker material, while roll-formed gutters are a more budget-friendly option. So it just depends if you want to spend the extra money up front for an easier clean up. I posted the video above to show you the two differences.
